Questions.....???

All my life, I have been asking questions. This is for many reasons: I need help right away, I'm curious, and (the most common reason) I'm unsure about something. In grade school, I'd always ask questions. It would mainly stem from the fact that I wanted to make sure that what I was doing was right. In 6th grade, my teacher got so annoyed with me that she forbid me from asking anymore questions. WTF?!?! I think that's when I started going downhill as far as being ambitious about learning. If I can't ask questions, I can't be curious! Now, whenever I am asked by people if they have any questions for me, I can't think of anything!!! Thanks a lot, 6th grade teacher.... Still, though, questions are a part of my style. Whenever writing papers (or doing creative writing), I tend to put a lot of questions in it. I believe that it keeps the readers engaged and allows them to know what I am thinking. Does that make sense???

I have questions for all who read this post:
1.) Who do you think has had the biggest influence on your life between the ages of 10 and 14?
2.) When confronted with a choice, do you go for the one with the biggest reward, or the one with the lower risk?
3.) If you could take one item onto a deserted island that you'd have to live on for the rest of your life, what would it be (and no "a boat" or beacon answers)?
4.) What question do you most want answered?
5.) What would you do if you were sent back in time to the day you were born?
6.) Do you feel like you are completely honest with people and that there is someone on this earth that truly knows you, good and bad?

That's all the questions I have! Remember, questions can lead to answers if you ask the right questions at the right time. Life would be so boring if we knew everything already, wouldn't it?

thank you for your wonderful comment, anthony ^O^ & the story is a short by haruki murakami, a japanese author. if you click the portion on the blog, you'll be directed to where you can read the whole thing :)

onward to the answers:
1. Wow, between the ages of 10 and 14? I think I would have to say that my biggest influence was my best friend, Felisa. I think this was the period in my life where we started to become better friends and she was (and still is) always there for me. She has made such a tremendous impact on my life, and I'm glad to have such a great best friend such as her.

2. This, Anthony, I am going to say is a hard one. I think it would largely depend on the situation; however, most of the time I think that I would go for the latter because I am not much of a risk-taker. Although, again, it depends on the situation and how much I can benefit from the situation (as selfish as that sounds).

3.Could it be a person, because I really don't think I could ever live by myself. But, I guess that in and of itself would, too, be a difficult decision. So, I think I'm just going to go with a radio. I just want to be simple and realistic. I'm sure I can learn to hunt, gather, and build a fire. I can't bring an electronic device and have it magically powered forever.

4. What is my purpose in life?

5. Knowing what I know now? Or, just sent back? Even if it were the first, can we change the future? (Even more questions to be answered!)

6. No.

1.)
I have no idea. I guess my parents, they were the only people who I constantly saw.
2.)
That depends on what the risks are and what the rewards are. I'll usually take risks because I really like rewards, especially money, but I'm not stupid.
3.) One of those pop-up tent things. I can hide myself in a little nylon bubble from all of the scary island things.
4.)
Most questions I've answered for myself or made use of Wikipedia. I am curious, however, about the conjoined twins with one body and two heads. When they get older, how will they deal with things like relationships and sex? How would that work?
5.)
I would tell my parents to pick one name. Either "Erika" or "Rae" but not both.
6.)
I am very honest with people. If they ask me a question about myself, I will almost always answer them. I don't think anyone truly knows me though. Most people don't ask enough questions to know me that well. You and Julie come fairly close though.

I like using questions in my papers too, but my high school teachers kept grading me down for them.
